Salton City Community Park is open Monday through Sunday.  The park is located at 1240 Harbor Drive in Salton City.
Salton City has a pool that is open during the summer, Memorial Day through Labor Day.
Pool hours for the 2011 season are 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Wednesday thru Sunday.  Open on Mondays Holidays. Swimming fees are as follows:
$3.00 daily,
$60.00 individual season pass,
$90.00 family season pass.

Desert Shores Park and Salton City Park both have restrooms, playground equipment, picnic tables, bicycle rack and barbeque grills for public use. The Community Parks can also be used for group events, birthday parties, baby showers, family events and much more.

West Shores Nature Trail is a walking trail where visitors can enjoy bird watching and the great outdoors along the beautiful Salton Sea. Over 295 species have been spotted at the Salton Sea, with 96 as incidental. Visitors are urged to look carefully for birds and other wildlife. Directions to the Nature Trail: From Highway 86 turn east onto North Marina Drive. Turn left on Tahoe, and then turn right on Huron. Turn left on Crystal Lake, and the Nature Trail is at the rear of Palm Beach Dry Camp.

The West Shores Golf Park is a nine-hole par-3 public course where everyone is welcome to play. The golf park has green tees and greens with desert fairways. The shortest hole is approximately 89 yards and the longest is approximately 152 yards. During winter months, tournaments and scrambles are offered each weekend. 
The golf course is operated by the Golf Club a private organization.

Palm Beach Dry Camp is a scenic place to spend some time and get to know the area. It has 30 pull-through spaces for RVs, an area for tents and ample room to park. Groups are welcome. The Salton Sea is approximately 35 miles long and 15 miles wide, and the camp is along the western shoreline.

The Desert Shores park canopy, slab and sidewalk was completed in March 2011.  Residents have a place to get away from the heat and to enjoy BBQ's with their families.
